My turning point towards holistic wellness was being diagnosed with celiac disease and starting a gluten free diet in 2011. Although I likely had some form of gluten intolerance my whole life because, for 20+ years, the symptoms related to this official diagnosis affected my body and my life so frequently I learned to dismiss them as nothing more than normal.
